Description:
|
This is a 10-day Drillworks Expert training program. This package of training begins with the 5-day Drillworks Pro course and continues for an additional 5 days and includes theory overview and subsequent training in Drillworks Presage.
The course is designed for geoscientists and engineers who need advanced methods to work in difficult areas, or those who want to apply geologic modeling and hydrodynamic analysis in their geopressure analysis. This courses teaches the most effective way we have identified to predict pore pressure in carbonate areas or other places where traditional petrophysical analysis fails.
It includes basin modeling theory and practical applications and is bulit on a foundation of Predict, 3D, Geostress and Safe Seal. The techniques discussed focus on practical versus theoretical techniques that will allow supervisors to evaluate the credibility of the modeled results and consider them appropriately in the well design and construction decision-making process. This course reinforces the geopressure concepts presented in the Drillworks Pro course and provides hands-on training in pore pressure analysis using Drillworks Predict.

Understand the basic geopressure definitions and underlying concepts and methods required to preform geopressure analysis
-
Apply basic pore pressure models and terminology
-
Preform petrophysical analysis using Drillworks Predict
-
Generate a pore pressure model based on input from the pore pressure and porosity definitive curves derived from the Perdict analysis
