Description:
This four-day course is for any client wanting to use ARIES to organize, manage and evaluate economic and production data. It is designed to highlight ARIES most frequently used features and capabilities.

Intended For:
Reservoir, Production and Acquisitions Engineers, Geologists, Engineering Technicians, Reservoir Analysts, and Managers

Prerequisites:
Prior use of Windows and basic understanding of Oil & Gas industry terminology

Objectives: After this course, you should be able to:
 
  • Understand the basic organizational data structure of ARIES and how to "connect" to new databases
  • Start ARIES and navigate around the program efficiently using the various menu items, short-cuts and "hot keys"
  • Input and edit table data both manually and using global editing techniques
  • Transport selected property data from one datasource to another
  • Import third-party production/test data from spreadsheets into ARIES
  • Create new properties, duplicate existing properties, and group properties for forecasting or summaries
  • Analyze data graphically and save and retrieve forecasts using automatic and manual forecasting techniques
  • Setup and create both individual and summary production/forecast graphs and hard copy plots
  • Enter and edit economic case data and evaluate individual cases and summary level economics using manually scheduled forecasts and the forecasts made in the Graphics utility
  • Develop projects containing various properties using automatic and manual methods
