It contains: •Preliminary Casing Design Principles – theory, methodology, formation properties, wellbore temperatures and relation to kicks, wellpath design. •Preliminary Design - data gathering and interpretation, shoe depth and number of strings, minimum casing diameter, mud weight. •Getting Started - data entry, accessing help, preferences, units, inventories. •General Well and Formation Data - introductory dialogue boxes, pore pressure, fracture gradient, squeezing salt, undisturbedtemperature, deviation, doglegs, production data •Results and Reporting
