Description:

This one or two-day course is designed to enable explorationists to rapidly construct interval velocity models using data commonly available to interpreters. The velocity model can be used to quickly convert grids, horizons, faults, and seismic traces from time to depth using TDQ. The model can also be used for converting well logs and tops from depth back to time in SeisWorks and EarthCube. This course also explains methods of incorporating various sources of velocity data to create a single interval velocity model that ties well tops in depth.
