Description:
This two-day course provides a detailed insight in setting up DFW to meet companies' needs. It is designed to give system administrators the proper tools to install, customize, troubleshoot, and manage DFW.

Intended For:
System Administrators, Drilling engineers involved in DFW setup.

Prerequisites:
Familiar with DFW, databases, and prior use of Windows

Objectives: After this course, you should be able to:
 
  • Perform DFW installations (standalone, network, custom)
  • Navigate through DFW
  • Learn how to configure: input tabs, spreadsheets, picklists, security
  • Understand the DFW database
  • Setup a launch bar to execute any programs from DIMS
  • Understand and setup communications (MGICOMM)
  • Use Data Analyzer to search existing data for troubleshooting purposes
